Rafael Molano used the phrase “del chiras” to refer to extraordinary things that were of better quality. That was the name he gave to the first production line for corn snacks installed in Colombia in 1982 and that today continues to manufacture chiras products for their extraordinary freshness, quality and flavor.

One of the flagship products of the factory is the Maizitos, which arrived in the same year as the plant was inaugurated to satisfy the palates of Colombians and who share, like the rest of the family, the quality, naturalness and tradition of the Ramo products.

Don Rafael Molano utilizaba la frase “del chiras” para referirse a las cosas extraordinarias que eran de mejor calidad. Ese fue el nombre que le dio a la primera línea de producción de pasabocas de maíz instalada en Colombia en 1982 y que hoy sigue fabricando productos del chiras por su extraordinaria frescura, calidad y sabor.
