Product details
Carolina Cookwood produces Natural Outdoor Cooking & smoking wood from premium locally harvested USA hardwood. Our products are naturally aged/cured. The natural aging process retains elements of the wood that assure the excellent smokey aroma desired by professional pitmasters and backyard grill masters. Each box of our wood logs for smokers contains approximately 675 cubic inches of thick 6-inch-long wood log splits. Your smoker logs will arrive in boxes measuring 11.5 x 11.5 x 7.75 inches. The box is easy to store and carry. Depending upon the specie/material that you order, the weight of your box of BBQ wood logs will be from 12 to 17 lbs. and will typically be packed with from 15 to 20 large pieces. Note, that each box is hand-packed by a Carolina Cookwood team member. We pledge to pack your box to the brim, but as is the case with natural wood products, there will be some settling and loose material from the shipping journey to you. Each piece will vary in shape and thickness; after all, this is cut and split hardwood from trees, not building blocks. But if you are serious about smoking and grilling, you will like our smoking woods.
- Thick-cut splits for larger smokers and grills. Size varies due to hand splitting; typically, not less than 1 inch thick on the small edge and often 4+ inches thick
- Get serious about grilling and smoking meat. Smoking meat logs are different than normal firewood as the goal is flavor, not quick combustion, or high heat
- Use our smoking hardwood logs in smokers & grills: vertical, or offset; larger kamado-style, gas, and some unconventional smokers
- Carolina Cookwood dense smoker wood splits will burn slower and last longer than smaller chunks you may find in plastic bags in your local hardware store or online
- BBQ competition worthy and used by professional pitmasters and serious backyard grill masters alike
